The Department of Health & Social Services & Public Safety is committed
to promoting respect for diversity and to challenging sectarianism and racism
in both employment and services.
The Agenda for Change key skills framework requires all staff to undergo
training which will provide them with the knowledge and understanding to fulfil
both their legal duties and uphold and maintain the Trust's commitment.
This course has been designed specifically to meet the equality and diversity
learning needs of staff. It introduces everyone to the concepts of equal opportunities
and diversity and provides an overview of the main legislation and its practical
implications.
This course involves a time commitment of 1 hour a week. You will need your
manager's agreement to take the course and allow you study time.

The equality manager will have given you a user name and password which will
allow you access to the course for three weeks. At the end of which time you
are allowed to take the test a maximum of three times.
